Rick, Chad, Hunter and all. I'm sorry this is so late, but I hope you still get this. We just want to let you know how sorry we are for your loss. We only met her once that I remember, but she was real nice. As we all get older, it's difficult to lose a member of "that" generation. But we at least have our memories, right? Take care and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death.
They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love."

Grand Mound won't be the same without Phyllis, one of its biggest cheerleaders. To my kids she will always be "Mrs. Eaton" because they knew her so well and had so much respect for her from working at the school. Chris, Rick, and families, God bless you all.

My heartfelt sympathy to Chris and Rick, Willie and Bryan. May you find comfort in the loving memories you have of your mom and grandmother. I so enjoyed working with Phyllis during my years at Grand Mound Elementary. She was great with the kids and helpful to the teachers. You are in my prayers.

Dear Christie, Rick and families. Sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Long time family friend who is just joining all those Grand Mound folks, including Dorothy and Duwane Garlough (my mom and dad), and your dad who have gone before her. Lots of wonderful memories over the many years. My thoughts and prayers to you.
