John and Annie Schweich send our heartfelt condolences to Dale's family. We received this same plant at mom's funeral in 2007 and like her memory it still florish's in our house today. I hope this plant along with Dale's memory will do the same.

We lost a great friend and all around great guy on Friday. He could 'MacGuyver" anything. Give him a styrofoam cup, some string, and a pencil eraser --and he could make a you an anhydrous knife so you could finish NH3 before a rain !

It was my great pleasure knowing Dale, working with him at EMJ. I considered him a friend and a good man. He had a one of a kind character. He will be missed. I am very sorry to read this. Jack and Arlene were dad's next door neighbors on 12th street and helped him a lot in his later years. When dad fell at home and broke his hip and lay there for a day it was Jack that found him and got him to a hospital. My brother and were, and are, very grateful to them for what they did for dad.

Annette and family...my heart aches to know this about Dale. What a sweet, kind person who had time for all.
One on my favorite stories about him was the night the Moose Club had a hay rack ride. Since the Club was right across the road from where I grew up things didn't shut down very early that night.
The next morning (Sunday) my mom always sent me to town to get a paper and groceries she needed. As I climb in my car out pops Dale from the backseat..."Hi Nell" "could u give me a ride home?"
Here he got off the fun train from the night before and curled up in my car for some much needed sleep.
We laughed so many times thru the years about that little gem...what a great guy...he will be missed. KP
