I would like to take this opportunity to let you all know how saddened I was to learn of Clarence's passing. Since I know so many of you I felt this was the best way to let you know that I am thinking of you all and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember your husband and father as a man with a quick smile and a wonderful sense of humor. I will always remember the Kinney family stories, especially the one Joyce always told about the bathroom use and the hard knocks the bathroom door always got. Keep your wonderful memories close at heart and know that your friends and family are think of you. God Bless. Tammy Porth Lee

You have my deepest sympathy with the loss of your husband/father, and grandfather. I absolutely enjoyed taking care of him recently when he was a patient at Genesis East, we talked for quite awhile and I thoroughly enjoyed him. What a pleasant man. Sincerely, Kelly Schmidt, Critical Care Nurse at Genesis East.

My heart goes out to you all at this time of such a painful loss. I wanted to share a remembrance of my youth with, Roberta and Joyce and I wailing as only drama queen teens can do that we were sure Uncle Clarence would die soon. We were about 15-17 years old and he had just had his first heart attack.. Well praise God we got to enjoy him so many more years. I have been motivated to quit smoking as of the 31st, God Bless Uncle Clarence. Sympathy from your cousin Karen.

My symphathies are with the Kinney family during their time of sorrow. I do not know the Kinney family personally, but I have heard nothing but good things about the family. In fact, I only met Clarence once. God bless and may God give comfort to the Kinney family during this difficult time.

Joe Green's daughter. I was so saddened to hear of Uncle Clarence's passing! Believe it or not, I think of all of you often as my memories are many of the days spent on the farm w/Teresa, Mary Claire, Clarice and on and on. The apple well, shucking truckloads of corn, gathering eggs, corn silk dolls, pigeons, straightening piglet tails, hay mounds, homemade yeast rolls, milk pasturizing machine, tiny tiny kitchen, fly strips hanging from the ceilings, a dedicated room for clothes in every imaginable size, Roger making Teresa cry by calling her "toad", homemade soap, a ringer washer, an outhouse and Aunt Grace and Uncle Clarences smiles...these sights will last my lifetime. Thank you Uncle Clarence...enjoy your new home w/the one who breathed life into you so many years ago!
