Tom and I were in our first ATC class together with Buddha(Bill Burns). It was a wonderful time. BuddhA HAS A PICTURE OF all of us FROM HIS HOME PARTY. We were very close knit - but it was a long time ago (1973) . I remember Tom as very smart and friendly. After OKC , and we passed the difficult OKC tests, we went to different areas and I did not see hime that that much.

We are deeply sorry to hear about the death of Tom. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. We will remember Tom as a quiet, gentle, kind-hearted individual, who was also one of the best air traffic controllers we had the privilege of working with. He was greatly respected by his fellow controllers and his presence was missed after he retired. We are all greatly saddened to hear of his passing.
