Marilyn was a member of Wapsi Oaks Country Club and as an avid reader, the Book & Wine Book Club.  She adored her grandchildren and treasured the time she spent with them.  Marilyn enjoyed the winter home that she and Russ established in Mission, Texas.  Without hesitation, her favorite holiday was the 4th of July, a time spent with family and friends enjoying the day and the fireworks.

Preceding Marilyn in death were her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Earline Galloway and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rhea Hasenmiller, Dwain Galloway, Geff and Helma Galloway and Ken Simmons.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2016.   A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Mound.  A memorial fund has been established.
