I was shocked and saddened to hear of Rhea's passing since I had not seen here in a little while. Whether I was out doing yardwork and she was passing by or I ran into her and Merwyn anywhere, she always stopped to visit and had a smile and a kind word.I will miss seeing her. My sympathies to the family.

I first knew Rhea from her children's clothing store where we shopped a lot ! Then I had the fortune of having her as a board member of the DeWitt Referral Center. I was the director for 11 years and before that I worked there 5 years. During all those years Rhea was there helping out where ever we needed her. She was a big help at Christmas basket time. I am proud to count her as a special friend. RIP Rhea

Paul,
Thinking of you at this time of sorrow and sending prayers for your peace and comfort. You are that special "boy" who came to my wedding 43 years ago. I always enjoyed talking with your mom and finding out what you were up to.
She was so proud of you.

Rhea was a wonderful encouragement when I started in Lost Nation American Legion Auxiliary Unit 381 as an officer. I learned that I could count on her to be quietly precise teaching. I looked for her smile, hug and a gentle massage on my shoulders. A great leader. I will miss Rhea. Pam

Our tiny hamlet of Grand Mound and SS Philip & James Church is heartbroken; Saint Rhea is a very special loving lady. Rhea always made us feel that we were the favorite person in her life.
