I was deeply saddened to read of Kevin's passing. I worked with him at Alcoa as a volunteer member of the fire services, and after Alcoa I was reacquainted with him in his duties with Medic as I worked at Genesis. He will be missed by countless people. I will always remember him for his support and kindness. He was a natural leader and very strong in his beliefs and goodness. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, I know he can never be replaced in our lives.

Kevin was an amazing man. He served his community well. He leaves behind a family and friends who loved him dearly. God received an Angel. We will miss him dearly, but know that he suffers no more. God Bless Sherri and all his children during this difficult time. Know that he is watching over you all in Heaven. God Bless you all.

February 26, 2017 4:54 PM

To the Kevin Brix family - I was truly sorry to hear of Kevin's passing, but know and believe he is in a far better place. I had the privilege of working with Kevin on a 6 month temporary assignment at the DPW plant. Later I had the honor and privilege of working with him again at the Alcoa Fire school as an instructor. His long time dedication to the Fire/EMS service will be missed by many - he touched many lives and helped start off multiple generations of new emergency responders in his dedication to make the world a better place.

Kevin was a man who not got me involved in the fire department ,bUT a man that loved doing what he did. He was a friend that would go out of his way to do anything you ask of him. He was a hero to many people but now will be a angel from above watching over all of us now and I know all of us that know kevin will agree that he was a great person. That's for teaching me kevin about all the aspects of being a firefighter and a EMT you will never be forgotten. My prayers go out to all his family .

Kevin was a great brother-in-law. He is greatly missed already. There will be a empty spot forever in our hearts.
He was a caring man with great patience, wonderful man to my sister & her girls as well as his girls and grandchildren.
May God keep his entire family in his arms and ease their pain. <3
