Condolences to the Ruggeberg family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

Please accept condolences from a Goenne branch of Carolyn's family. Carolyn was my father Wilfred Blaser's first cousin. Ken was always so generous in attending family events with Carolyn and I remember him fondly. They were both especially gracious to us when my parents died in the 1980s. I am filled with gratitude that he lived such a long and eventful life.

Thank you so much for your kind words. They bring comfort even after several months.
I continue to explore my Goenne roots when I am in the Quad Cities.

John and family, I just read about Ken's passing. I am thankful that it was a peaceful one. Your dad was such a kind man. In all the years I had known him I never heard him say a negative thing about anyone. I know it is hard to lose a parent, no matter how old they are, May God comfort all those Ken has left behind, and give you his strength as you move forward. May your hearts be filled with the many wonderful memories that you have shared him.

John and family. I am saddened to hear of your father's passing. At 90 years of age, it appears he had a good, long life time on this earth and from what I read and hear, your father was a very good man on top of his years. No matter how old, it is still a difficult time for you, I pray for peace and contentment for you and your family. Please take care and hopefully smile a lot due to many great and lifetime memories.

I really admired the way Ken lived life. His faith and the way he handled his cancer was an inspiration to me. A conversation with him reavealed his caring, thoughtful nature and his woodcarving talent showed his humor, observational skills and depth. Ken made the story of his life so interesting. I will think of him often. God's Blessings to all his family.

My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your dad. He was an outstanding contributor to the community and his church. He served on the Church Board with my dad for many years and both belonged to the Lions Club.

John, Jan and family. Sending condolences on the passing of your father. He had a long life and it sounds like he was very interested and involved in many things. Even though he lived long and fully it does not necessarily make the passing any easier. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so sad to read about Mr. Ruggeberg's passing. He was such a delightful gentleman with an engaging smile and kind words to say. I always admired him and his wife. Even as his health began to decline, he always had a friendly hello for me and was able to make jokes about his card playing skills. I will miss his friendly face when I visit Grand Haven. I send my deepest sympathy to his family.

A kind and gentle man was Ken. We became good friends thru church where he was so welcoming when we first moved here. Jesus must surely love him-we do. We express our sympathy to all his family.
