Please accept condolences from a Goenne branch of Carolyn's family. Carolyn was my father Wilfred Blaser's first cousin. Ken was always so generous in attending family events with Carolyn and I remember him fondly. They were both especially gracious to us when my parents died in the 1980s. I am filled with gratitude that he lived such a long and eventful life.

John and family, I just read about Ken's passing. I am thankful that it was a peaceful one. Your dad was such a kind man. In all the years I had known him I never heard him say a negative thing about anyone. I know it is hard to lose a parent, no matter how old they are, May God comfort all those Ken has left behind, and give you his strength as you move forward. I really admired the way Ken lived life. His faith and the way he handled his cancer was an inspiration to me. A conversation with him reavealed his caring, thoughtful nature and his woodcarving talent showed his humor, observational skills and depth. Ken made the story of his life so interesting. I was so sad to read about Mr. Ruggeberg's passing. He was such a delightful gentleman with an engaging smile and kind words to say. I always admired him and his wife. Even as his health began to decline, he always had a friendly hello for me and was able to make jokes about his card playing skills. I will miss his friendly face when I visit Grand Haven. I send my deepest sympathy to his family.
