Family and friends; Very sorry to hear of Kenneth's passing. Talked to Kenneth at the last Schmidt reunion. He remembered the winter he took the ford tractor and was giving rides on an old bob sled, at the Schmidt farm (maybe on Christmas around 1959 not sure). Must have rolled me off pretty good, as he mentioned, he was thinking, he feared he killed me. Kenneth must have given a pretty good ride for him to remember that. LOL

It's stuff like that we must remember to help deal with the tremendous loss of a great man. I will be thinking of everyone that knew Kenneth and hurting along with them. Even if locked tight, the gates of heaven will surely open up for Kenneth.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Zeimet family. Ken was not only a joy to work with, but a wonderful, thoughtful person whom everyone liked. May he rest in peace and his family find condolence in knowing he left a wonderful legacy of friendship to many people.

So sorry for your loss. Kenny always had a smile on his face, and was so kind hearted. I remember when one time there was a wrestling meet in Fulton, and I forgot my cheerleading skirt in my car at Northeast. Kenny let me use his car to go and get it...he saved the day. May he R.I.P. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this time of sadness. Hugs! ❤️

Ken was an exceptional man. I very much enjoyed working with him at Custom-Pak. He was very gentle in his ways, which was useful at moderating my less than gentle way of dealing with safety issues. He always had an interesting story and we spent a lot of time discussing safety issues and more. I remember stopping at his home on the way to or from a seminar somewhere. His wife was very hospitable to this stranger at her door. He showed me how his house was a house within a house. He was one of the best people I ever met in Iowa.
