We were so sorry to hear that Gertie died! We were both sick and were unable to attend her wake. She was a wonderful person. We also remember her parents. Her mother was a good friend of my mother. I was sad to note that she didn't have a church funeral.

Thinking of all of you today and hoping the many wonderful memories of your family together will always be with you. May you find solace and comfort in the days to come knowing that she is at peace, after a life well-lived.

I was sorry to hear of Gerties passing, however, living to be 89 is an accomplishment in itself. I remember years (many years!) ago, when Aaron, myself and Gertie and Harlan got together. So much, as well as lives has changed in all those years.
You have my sympathy, know you have a great family that help each other.
