Dorothy Ann Eschbach was born June 6, 1937, in Clinton to Kermit and Vivian (Mueller) Eschbach. She married Richard Reiland in 1960. He preceded her in death in 1967. She retired from Ennis in 2002.
Dorothy was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Mound. She loved watching sports of any kind, especially the Hawkeyes. Dorothy enjoyed her beautiful flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, and her dog, Bella.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Rottach of Davenport, Michael Reiland of Muscatine, and Melinda (Gerald) Flint, of Calamus; grandchildren, Haley, Mariah, Mitchell, Mycah, and Seth; siblings, Shirley Eschbach and Kivian (Theresa) Eschbach; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard, a brother Dale, and a sister, Linda.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Grand Mound with the Rev. Steven Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Mound. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Reiland, Kurt, Ken, and Jeffrey Eschbach, Greg and Brandon Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Reiland, Kris and Bridgett Anderson, Teresa and Madison Eschbach, Janelle Bousselot, and Shawn Henning.
