Doris was my childhood buddy. I grew up ridding pony, bailing hay, milking cows and loving farm life because of our friendship. Her family allowed me to enjoy their working farm and now much of my childhood stories surround the times we shared as young girls to young ladies. We did not see each other often after as adults but when we did it was a sit down catch up talk, talk, talk, ordeal. I owe much of who I am to my time growing up with her. My heart is broken that she is gone. I am sorry for your loss too. She truly loved her family. She was a special lady!

My sympathies and prayers go out to all of Doris's family. She and I grew up together and spent hours and hours together outside playing with our horses and dogs. Somehow over the years we lost touch. I have missed her friendship and heaven has gained a beautiful angel. RIP Doris....I will never forget you.

Doris was a wonderful individual to work with and she will be missed. She was a wonderful aide and was compassionate to those she cared for. I fell blessed and honored to work with Doris. She loved her family fiercely and she was a fighter.
Sympathy to the family and holding you in my heart.
