I have only known Daniel for a few years, as we carpool to work together, and was very sad to hear of Donald's illness and passing. I loved the video, especially the picture of him on the skateboard. Sending you all strength and love. Keeping you in my thoughts.

Thanks Dawnie,
You are a terrific friend and I hope that halo earns your right to the front pew in heaven.

Dawn, you have been extremely kind to carpool with Daniel. As his sister, I'm thankful for your kindness.

I worked with Don at the casino for several years, and always loved his wit and dry humor. We got along great, and he was one of my favorite people who gave me a hard time, pretty much on a daily basis.

So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Bonnie and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Don's passing. However, the Dear Lord decided that he had suffered enough and time to go to a better place.
Please know that he is in our prayers as well as all of the family.

I haven't lost a Dad as I will always have him in my heart and as an angel watching over me. He taught me to be honest, to have integrity and to be kind. He also taught me to haggle with the car salesman and get the best price for everything. He taught me the value of a dollar. I remember he took us on motorcyle rides. He also taught me so much about math. He loved to say, "I bet I can add that up faster in my head than you can on paper." That made me go to my room like a true nerd and start adding up columns of numbers to beat him. He played basketball with Daniel and I and we all ran track at the airbase. He loved a hearty meal and that usually included bread. He could be known saying, "where's the bread." He loved cookies and he loved his ice cream. Man did he love ice cream. He was the strongest guy I have ever known and he could build/fix anything. He took pride in his belongings and always had clean fingernails, LOL. He loved to gamble but not too often. He was my Dad. He cherished my Mom and she loved him dearly. I have never seen a couple so in love. I'm going to miss him. Sincerely, DeAnna Mackensen
