Mr. Ketelsen was one of the teachers that I was fortunate enough to connect with in High School. He inspired me in ways that I did not even know possible through drama, acting and English. Many fond memories and prayers for him and all of the family.

Sorry to hear of Don's passing. Don was a good friend and Northeast high school class mate who always was cheerful in everything he did. He will be missed , but is in an even better place with God in Heaven. Condolences to the entire Ketelsen family.

Kathy, Brandon, Kaz, Kaitlyn, Kellie & Families - just wanted to send along our deepest sympathy to you all. Don was always very supportive to our teams as both a fan & a father. I will always remember him sitting in the stands & cheering us on. The experiences of traveling to those Little League Baseball Tournaments in the Summer & Youth Basketball Tournaments in the Winter are memories I hope to not only share with my own children, but also hope they too will get to experience people like Don. He was a great man, & we will keep you all in our prayers!

My deepest sympathy. Mr Ketelson was my high school English teacher at Cal-Wheat and directed a play I was a part of which are some of my favorite memories of high school. Thank you Mr Ketelson for being a teacher who cared and touched so many lives

Kathy, Kaitlyn and family - Don truly was a special man! We loved being in card club with you two - so thankful for the years of patience in teaching us 500 - he was the best at the game! Brian got his start in theater with Don in "State Fair" and that is always a special memory. Heaven is his home where he is walking and dancing now with his Savior, and you will see him again - praying for comfort and peace for you all.

Sorry for your family's loss. I have many memories of Don from Sunday gatherings with Selma Ketelsen family, playing basketball in our or his barn, 4H & Walther League, to when Kaitlin & her friend and Don helped with grape harvest in our vineyard.
