Cheryl Lynn (Cousins) Andersson

Cheryl Lynn Andersson, 62, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Christmas night, Sunday, December 25, 2016, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loving family.

Cheryl was born September 5, 1954, in Clinton to Clement and Evelyn (Krukow) Cousins.  She was graduate of DeWitt High School.  In addition to raising her son, Cheryl was employed by Ralston Purina in Clinton.

She loved gardening, flowers and birds.  Cheryl was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ dearly.  

Surviving are her son, Chris; grandchildren, Shawn, Kevin and Myllie McMahon; siblings, Judy Jansen and Terry Cousins of Clinton; nieces and nephews, Eric, Tera, Nick and Michelle.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a nephew, Chad Cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016.  A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016, in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.

Pallbearers will be Chris McMahon, Eric Cousins, Shawn McMahon, Kevin McMahon, Nick Crosthwaite and Jessie Frahm.  Terry Cousins will serve as honorary pallbearer.
