Sorry to hear of Anna's passing. My parents, Harold and Milly Oveson, were good friends with Woody and Anna. I have childhood memories of spending time at the farm. Our parents are probably all having a game of Canasta!

She was my third grade teacher in Camanche, which would've been the 1977-1978 school year. Funny how over the years I'd think about the fun it was to be in her class. Used to number my notebook pages and she thought it was neat. Even having been the age of 8-9 years old, almost 40 years later she still left an impression. A grand lady to be sure, may she rest in eternal peace. Thank You, Mrs. Rice. :D

Mrs. Rice taught both my boys at Camanche Elementary School. She was a wonderful teacher and understood her students so well. She will be missed.
