Alice was one special lady! My family had the honor of getting to know her on the Mississippi River over the summer months. Our houseboats were parked next to each other for several years. What a tremendous cook! Saturday morning was biscuits and gravy as only Alice could make them. Many memories. My love to all of you who will be grieving over the huge empty hole this woman left.
