Wanda Lee Logsdon, 91, formerly of Princeton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Wheatland Manor in Wheatland, Iowa.
Wanda Lee Smith was born October 17, 1932, to Howard and Dorothy (Johnson) Smith. She married Glen Logsdon on February 11, 1950, a union which lasted until his death on December 17, 2009. They resided in Princeton, Iowa overlooking the Mississippi River most of their lives. In her golden years, she enjoyed collecting ink pens, taking care of her pets, and talking on the telephone to family and friends, which she continued until her dying days.
She is survived by her sister, Lotis Mathes, son Glen (Logsdon), daughters Loretta (Steve) Hoffman and Deborah (Paul) Campbell, nieces, nephews, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three of her sisters, Ruth Sheehan, Judy Smith, and Pauline Hyle.
Family and friends may visit at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, followed by a graveside service at Pine Hill Cemetery in Wheatland.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to the family c/o Schultz Funeral Home.
