Timothy R. Lippens

Tim Lippens, 60, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away due to cancer Thursday, March 7, 2024, in the comfort of his mother's home in Moline, Illinois.

Timothy Robert Lippens was born in Des Moines, Iowa, April 8, 1963, and was adopted as a baby by Robert and Marian (Ehlers) Lippens. He grew up on the family farm north of DeWitt, and attended Central Community Schools. Tim loved the family farm and resided there his entire life.

He is survived by his mother, Marian, a brother, Richard (Leslie) Lippens of Davenport, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the service time of 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Clinton Human Society.
