Shane Allen Glover

Shane Glover, 55, of Eldridge, Iowa, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at UnityPoint Trinity, Rock Island, following a battle with cancer.

Shane Allen Glover was born June 23, 1970, in Davenport, Iowa, to Allen and Linda (Duke) Glover. He grew up on the family farm in rural Donahue, graduating from North Scott High School in 1988. He then graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Design with a BFA. Shane was united in marriage to Amy Follmann on May 8, 1999, in Massena, Iowa. The couple resided in Park View where they raised their three daughters, Maia, Hailey, and Nora. Shane was the owner and operator of Glover Design, where he provided graphic design services for many local businesses. He also farmed with his brothers, Max and Salem.

Shane was a talented artist and loved sharing his passion for graphic design and art with his girls. He was skilled in photography, enjoyed traveling, watching Westerns, and learning new things. He never met a stranger, making friends everywhere he went.

Surviving are his wife, Amy; daughters, Maia, Hailey, and Nora; siblings, Sena (Kevin) Hagedorn, Cheyanne (Nick) Kalainoff, Salem (Christie) Glover, and Max (Courtney) Glover; mother and father in-law, Larry and Patricia Follmann, and brother-in-law, Mike (Jeni) Follmann; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Calamus, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. with a service following at 3:00 p.m. in the church. Light refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall.
