Ricky "Rick" Lee Puckett

Ricky Lee “Rick” Puckett, 67, of Grand Mound, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 18, 2024, in his home.

Rick was born December 12, 1956, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Gene Puckett and Carol Ann Graham Klemme. He graduated from North Scott High School and grew up in Princeton, Iowa. Rick worked as a bricklayer for Illinois Local Union #6.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, car shows, camping, rock tumbling, spending time with his family and dog, Blue, and anything outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Jake Puckett of DeWitt, and Chad Lindstrom of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Kenley Lindstrom; a sister, Vicki (Lloyd) Santee; and the mother of his children, Mary Schrader.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Puckett on December 19, 1956, and his mother and stepfather, Carol Ann and Jim Klemme, siblings, Tim Klemme, and Elizabeth Klemme.

A Celebration of Life will Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p,m. at the Grand Mound Community Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wapsi River Environmental Education Center, and the Grand Mound Community Center.
