Ralph (Bud) Kennedy, 84, of Calamus, passed away Monday, June 6, 2026.

Ralph (Bud) Kennedy was born in Centerville, Iowa on October 8th, 1941.

He enjoyed riding horses, 4 wheeling, and watching the Cubs and Bears & Westerns on TV. He enjoyed visiting with his friends and family and sitting on our deck.

Bud was a cowboy at heart, having horses from 1972 to 2009. He went on every trail ride possible, rode in parks and 3 times in Missouri on week-long rides.

He bought his first 4 wheeler in 2007 and enjoyed going places with it.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Faye; his son, John; his grandson, Zack and his wife, Tera; two great-granddaughters, Harper and Lilah; his sister, Beverly; and many nieces and nephews.
