Peggy Ann Driscoll

Margaret “Peggy” Driscoll, 56, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Peggy was born April 22, 1965, to Thomas and Bernice (Brown) Driscoll in DeWitt. She graduated from Central Community Schools in 1983, and attended Capri Beauty School. Peggy provided in-home day care for many years, and worked in childcare facilities in DeWitt and Dubuque.

Peggy enjoyed boating, shopping, family gatherings and time spent with her grandchildren and numerous friends. Peggy adored all the little ones she cared for over the years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She loved her Irish heritage and had been known to do a jig or two. One of her fondest memories was spending time with her sisters and mom on their trip to Ireland.

Surviving are her children, Mallory (Todd) Kruse with their children, Keaton and Clara all of DeWitt, and Addison (fiancé Tod Goodell) with their daughter, Evelyn all of Fulton, Illinois, Killian Crowley of DeWitt; her mother, Bernice Driscoll of DeWitt; brothers, Pat Driscoll of Dubuque, and Tom (Lien) Driscoll of Bettendorf, and sister, Colleen (Kurt) Ketelsen of DeWitt; nieces and nephews.

Welcoming her into heaven are her father Thomas, son Andrew, sister-in-law Barb, and sister Kelly.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the church. The church requests that masks be worn by all in attendance. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
