Mike Brown

Mike Brown, 64, of Lowden, Iowa, died Sunday evening, October 4, 2020, at Westwing Place, DeWitt.

James Michael Brown was born August 25, 1956, in Independence to Ronal and Jessie (Leitch) Brown.  He was a 1974 graduate of Anamosa High School and 1978 graduate of Cornell College, Mount Vernon with a degree in Social Work.  Mike married Jennifer Gray February 16, 1980, in Anamosa.  He was employed by the State of Iowa all of his working life until retirement in January of this year. 

Surviving are his wife, Jennifer; a daughter,, Shannon Edwards of DeWitt; grandchildren, Jena Edwards and Rylan Edwards of DeWitt; a sister, Paula Price of Portage, Wisconsin and a brother David Brown of Marion; nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mike in death were his parents; his step-father, Glenn Leggett and step-mother, Pat Brown.

At his request, no visitation or service will be held.  Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
