Michael Marlowe, 43, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 after a brief illness.
Michael Charles Marlowe was born on April 7, 1983, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Bruce and Sherry (Creps) Marlowe. He graduated from Central DeWitt High School in 2002 and received a bachelor’s degree from Coe College with a double major in Business and Public Relations.
Michael was an amazing athlete and was an avid Cubs, Bears, and Hawkeye fan. He was always watching sports, visiting new baseball stadiums and was a juggernaut in his fantasy sports leagues. He enjoyed visiting his sisters who lived near Major League Baseball stadiums and catching as many games as he could.
He is survived by his two sisters, Dr. Megan (Joshua) Baker of Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Andrea (Bryant Carter) Marlowe of Baltimore, Maryland; his favorite nephew Caden Baker, favorite older niece Alayna Baker, and favorite younger niece Cassie Baker; an uncle, Charles (Roberta) Creps; and girlfriend, Hannah O Connell. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the service time of 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Schultz Funeral Home in DeWitt. Private family burial will be in Eldora Cemetery, Eldora, Iowa.
