Mary Helen Carlson

Mary Carlson, 81, of Bellevue, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her home in Bellevue, Iowa.

At Mary’s request, no services will be held.

Surviving is her daughter, Wendy Carlson of DeWitt; grandchildren, Logan F. Bickel, Raylynn and Dana Carlson; bonus grandchildren, Katlynn Felderman and Colton Sawyer. Also surviving are her sisters, Marty Burke, of South Carolina, Eula Doss of Virginia, and Betsy S. Nunn South Carolina; 17 nieces and nephews.

In addition to family, she is survived by her friend, William R. Ernst. She loved spending time with him and doing many projects together.

Mary worked at Westwing Place in DeWitt for 27 years, retiring in 2008.
