Marty Fier

Martin Leo “Marty” Fier, 58, of Charlotte, Iowa, passed away September 22, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the DeWitt Community Center.

Marty was born August 25, 1964, to Leo Jr. and Darlene (Schulte) Fier in DeWitt, Iowa, where Marty was raised and attended school. Marty was an Electrician for many years and worked at various companies, most recently for Jansen Electric in DeWitt.

Marty was an avid Green Bay Packers Football fan, enjoyed watching old movies, listening to music, hanging out with his family and friends, especially his grandkids.

Marty is survived by his 4 children, David (Nicole) Fier of DeWitt, Casey Fier, of Davenport, Scott Fier of Clinton, and Holly Fier, of Preston; grandchildren, Jaylee, Bentlee, Kara, Myra, Scarlett, Leo, Huxley, and Hendrix; siblings Mark (Tina) Fier, Mike (Judy) Fier, Julie (Mike) Flammang, and Jodie Fier; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
