Linda Gasper

Linda Gasper, 80, of Calamus, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.

Linda Kay Hewer was born June 28, 1945, to John and Margaret (Henzen) Hewer of Lost Nation, Iowa. She grew up in Lost Nation, where she graduated from high school. Linda married Leon Gasper on October 19, 1963. The couple resided in Calamus. Linda raised her family, was a farm wife, and also worked as a bus driver, first responder, and an insurance agent.

She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery in Grand Mound.
