Laurie Lynn (Huseby) Willey

Laurie L. (Mrs. Todd) Willey, 58, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Thursday morning, May 23, 2019, at home.
 
Laura Lynn (Huseby) Willey was born September 5, 1960.  Shortly after birth she was adopted by Raymond and Colleen "Coke" (Falls) Huseby.  Laurie graduated from Good Counsel Academy in Mankato, Minnesota.  She married Todd Willey September 2, 1989, at the United Methodist Church, Osage.  They resided in DeWitt where thy raised their sons.  Laurie worked at Maidrite, Family Restaurant, Casey's, Dollar General, Family Dollar, DeWitt Travel Mart, Farm and Fleet and Walmart until illness forced retirement. 

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Grand Mound.  Laurie lovingly cared for her parents until their deaths and enjoyed caring for others.

Surviving are her husband, Todd; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremiah and Kasey Willey of DeWitt and Joshua and Melissa Willey of Clinton; grandsons, Raymond Jeffrey Allistar Willey, Elijah-Jackson Xavier Willey and Gauge Alan Willey; a brother, Kenneth (Charlene) Huseby of Superior, Wisconsin.

Preceding Laurie in death were her parents and a brother, David.

The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Grand Mound from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019.  A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the church with Pastor Denise Anderberg officiating.
