Kelly Kathleen Driscoll

Kelly Kathleen Driscoll, 59, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Saturday evening, March 30, 2019 at Westwing Place, DeWitt surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September, 24, 1959, Sigourney, Iowa, to Thomas and Bernice (Brown) Driscoll.  She attended St. Joseph Catholic School and was a 1978 graduate of Central Community Schools, DeWitt.  Kelly went on to study Nursing at Moline College of Nursing and Clinton Community College.  She worked as a Psychiatric Nurse for 20 years at Jane Lamb Hospital, Clinton.  She married William Dunmore in April of 1985 and this union was blessed with three children.

Kelly loved gardening, canning salsa, boating on the Mississippi and her Irish heritage.  She loved to make people laugh and had a great sense of humor.

Surviving are children, Kathleen "Katie" Dunmore of Morrison, Illinois, Daniel Dunmore of Coralville and Connor Dunmore of Clinton; grandsons, Jackson and Charlie; her mother, Bernice Driscoll of DeWitt; siblings, Patrick Driscoll of DeWitt, Thomas Driscoll of Linden, Iowa, Colleen (Kurt) Ketelsen of DeWitt, Margaret Ann "Peggy" Driscoll of Maquoketa; nieces and nephews.

Preceding Kelly in death were her father, a sister-in-law, Barbara Driscoll, a nephew, Andrew Jorgensen and a niece, Brandy Driscoll and grandparents.

The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019.  A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Fr. Stephen Page officiating.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
