Kathy Fay Kaczinski

Kathy Kaczinski, 59, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 27, 2023, at home.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. with a funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Kathy Fay O’Neill was born August 15, 1963, in Davenport, Iowa, to Ray and Nora (Martin) O’Neill. She graduated from North Scott High School in 1981. She was married to Ronald Kindelsperger, with whom she had two children, Brooke and Lucus. They later divorced. She then married Dan Kaczinski, they later divorced. Kathy provided housekeeping and pet grooming services for many years. She spent many happy years with her significant other, John Jorgensen. He preceded her in death in 2022.

Kathy was a devoted mother, her children meant the world to her. One of her greatest joys in life was becoming a grandmother to Archer Bowman. She was a very giving and caring person. She loved riding her horse and motorcycles, watching football, and outdoor activities. She was a very determined person, and never gave up in the face of many health challenges.

She will be lovingly missed by her children, Brooke (Evan) Bowman of Milan, Illinois, Lucus Kindelsperger of DeWitt; grandson, Archer Bowman; parents, Ray and Nora of Delmar; siblings, Alan Bolinger, Linda Kolls, Mary (Gary) Speigel, Christina Whittle, Cindy (Wayne) Bennett, and Gary (Joanie) O’Neill; other extended family; and her fur baby, Al Capone.

She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lois Bolinger.
