Judy Joy (Brick) Burmeister, 86, of Youngtown, Arizona, formerly of Elvira, Iowa, died March 17, 2020, in Arizona.
She was born March 1, 1934, in Des Moines to Elmer and Florence (Duesing) Weideman. She was a graduate of Elvira High School where she played on the schools basketball team. Judy furthered her education at a business college in Davenport. She was united in marriage to Ronald Brick and later to Lou Burmeister. Following farming and homemaking, Judy worked at Burpee Seed in Clinton. She later moved to Arizona where she managed two retirement centers. Judy was a member of Elvira Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her children, Keith Brick of Bettendorf, Julieann Dolge of Avondale, Arizona, and Neal Brick of Minnesota; grandchildren, Chris, Steve, Ian and Erik; great-grandchildren, Makenna, Mariana, Landon, Olivia, Jaxon and Tierney; brother, Michael Weideman.
Preceding Judy in death were her parents, husband, Lou and her son, Douglas.
