John Paul Connor

John P. Connor, 51, of Camanche, Iowa, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center-East, in Davenport, following a brief illness.

John was born February 26, 1971, to John and Darlene (Zurlinden) Connor in Streator, Illinois. John graduated from Flanagan High School in Flanagan, Illinois. He worked for Johnson’s Press and Interlake in Pontiac, Illinois. John was a handyman and enjoyed helping friends and family. John will live on in those he helped by being an organ donor through the Iowa Donor Network.

He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, and is survived by his parents, John and Darlene of Camanche; siblings, Tina Connor, Richard “Todd” (Michelle) Connor, Tarisha (Keith) Edwards, Scott Connor, and Joe (Sarah) Connor; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Katie, Tyler, Hannah, Ashley, Austin, Joshua, Thomas, Alana, Logan, Parker, and Mason; a great-nephew, Braven; and his beloved cats, Buddy and Gracie.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at Schultz Funeral Home in DeWitt, Iowa. A Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
