Jason Keith Griebel, 38, of Calamus, Iowa, died unexpectedly, Sunday morning, May 2, 2021, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Jason was born December 9, 1982, to Keith “Buck” and Debra (Jacobsen) Griebel, in DeWitt, Iowa. He graduated from Calamus-Wheatland High School and later Universal Technical Institute in Houston, Texas. Jason worked for Jeff’s Auto Body (later Fug’s Auto Body) in DeWitt, and was currently employed at Premier Dent Repair in Davenport.
Jason was a hard worker and a lovable prankster. He loved fishing and camping, and his dog, Rose. He never knew a stranger, and had time for everyone. He especially loved his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his twin brother, Jeff (Charity), and brother, Chris (Becka) all of Calamus; nieces and nephews, Brendan, Brianna, Brayden, Chayse, and Kinzie; and uncles, Virgil Bailey and Glenn Jacobsen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 4:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at 2144 225th Street Calamus, Iowa 52729.
