Jade Schroeder

Jade Brooke Schroeder, 34, of Charlotte, Iowa, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Jade was born October 13, 1991, in Clinton, Iowa, to Donald Allen Schroeder and Lori Ann Hoffmann Messerich. She graduated from Northeast Community School in Goose Lake in 2010 and later worked as a massage therapist.

Jade was a loving mother. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children. She extended compassion and healing to many as a massage therapist and with her knowledge of holistic wellness. Jade always greeted her family and friends with a joyful smile and strong, warm hugs. She was known for brightening a room with her laughter and playful energy. She will be remembered for her gentle heart and caring nature.

Survivors include her children, Brody, Hadley, Willow, and Stella; her mother, Lori (Terry) Messerich of Charlotte; her father, Don Schroeder of Sabula; her siblings, Natasha (Jason) Ritchie, Brandon (Sabrina) Schroeder, Sadie (Trevor) Kleppe, Tyson (Amy) Schroeder, Ashley (Michael) Donahue, Miya Messerich, Madison Messerich, Carter Messerich, and Parker Messerich; many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, William Michael.

Private services are being planned for the family.
