I'm certain Harold has already had Gladys on the dance floor in front of Lawrence Welk. I was extremely sorry to hear of the passing of one of the most dynamic men I've had the pleasure of knowing. Certainly Mr. Harold knew the value of good, hard honest work. But he also knew the value of a well told joke and a sweet to pass the day. Please accept my families humble condolences

My sympathy to the Irwin family, Delores, and Marcella. I have fond memories of Harold and my dad, Pat McDermott, with their mischievous ways. Mom and Dad always enjoyed being with Harold and Gladys. There is a story about your parents wedding night and our parents getting into the newlywed's suitcase. Up to no good! What are friends for? Thinking of you prayerfully.

We want to send our sympathy and love. Some of our best memories are from living next door to Harold and Gladys! Both helped with Steve and Matt - your dad took us to the doctor in DeWitt on a very snowy day for stitches, and your mom took me to pick up baby Matt from the hospital. I also feel like a small part of the family because your dad often called me his "other" daughter! A tremendous loss, but he left a gift of memories and a wonderful family!

A truly great man, both compassionate and strong. Even though I am one of his grandchildren via marriage he did not treat my any differently than any of the other grandkids. He will be missed by many. I am sure Grandma, my mom, and Jim have already enjoyed a card game and a polka with him on the other side already.

To all the Irwin family, so sorry of your loss. One of my memories,was the is 50th wedding anniversary. When Uncle Harold was twirling Aunt Gladys to a polka, with a big grin on his face. And all the children presenting them each with a rose. Wow what a family.

Id like you all to know how sadden I am to hear the news of Harold passing. But am happy he is with his sweetheart, that he always talked about with smiles! Im sorry for the pain this brings but find comfort that you have another angel watching over all of you. Many prayers and love to you all!!!!
