Gloria Goetzel

Gloria J. Goetzel, 84, of Blue Grass, Iowa, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at Fieldstone of DeWitt.

Gloria was born December 30, 1940, to Chester and Jeanne (Kubiak) Kowalkowski. She married Ronald R. Goetzel on February 23, 1973. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2011. Gloria worked for Watts Services until retirement.

Gloria had a special place in her heart for dogs, and over the years, she lovingly cared for many. Especially dear to her was her beloved dog, Coco, who survives her and will carry on her gentle spirit.

She is survived by her son, Shawn Agan and his wife Cindy.

In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, following cremation, no services will be held.
