Dane Matthew Rambo

Dane Rambo, 25, formerly of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away May 23, 2023, in Micco, Florida.

Dane Matthew Rambo came into the world on September 10, 1997, in Iowa City, Iowa, as the offspring of proud parents Matthew and Brenda (Adamson) Rambo. He received his education at Central DeWitt Schools before pursuing higher education at Louisiana State University. Professionally, Dane held a realtor's license.

Dane derived great pleasure from embarking on adventures, expanding his knowledge, cherishing moments with his family, and venturing on journeys to new destinations. His heart belonged to both the majestic mountains and the serene seashores.

He is survived by his father, Matt Rambo; half-sisters, Jordan and Taylor; grandmother, Susan Rambo; great aunts and uncles with their families, Sherry (John) Swanson of Cedar Rapids, Dana Caldwell of Cypress, Texas, Melinda (Jim) Smoldt of Reinbeck, Suzy Foxman of Alameda, California, David (Frances) Meek of Sebastian, Florida; and many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Adamson Rambo, his maternal grandparents, Ed and Phyllis Adamson, an uncle, Michael Adamson, and paternal grandfather, Wayne Rambo.

A Private Family Service will be held at Schultz Funeral Home, with interment following at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Mound.
