Brandy Michelle Erps

Brandy Erps, 51, of rural Maquoketa, Iowa, entered rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. 

Brandy Michelle Wolstenholme was born September 6, 1973, in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Carol Wolstenholme and Robert Thieme. She grew up in the Peoria area where she graduated from Limestone High School. She was married to Cory Bragg, with whom she had a son, Dustin, and later was married to Dirk Rockhold, with whom she had a son, Bryce. After relocating to Iowa, Brandy met the love of her life, Pat Erps, and they married 8 months later, on June 28, 2013. The couple resided in Davenport before moving to rural Maquoketa. She was employed at MidAmerican Energy for the last 12 years. While there, Brandy advanced from customer service in the call center to working as a design technician in the gas engineering department.

She is survived by her husband, Pat; her sons, Dustin (Holly) Bragg and their son Jensen all of Natchez, Mississippi, and Bryce Rockhold of Eldridge; her parents, Carol Hankins and Robert Thieme; brothers, Travis, Tyler, and Austin Thieme, and a sister, Christina Gallo; nieces and nephews; and many friends who became family.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Schultz Funeral Home in DeWitt. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the funeral home.
