Bobbie Jo (Dohrmann) Twigg

Bobbie Jo Twigg, 69, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Thursday morning, April 22, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center, Iowa City.

Barbara Joan Dohrmann was born February 11, 1952, in Des Moines to Julius and Joyce (Carber) Dohrmann.  The family moved to Chicago where Bobbie graduated from Proviso High School.  Bobbie worked for Ennis Business Forms, DeWitt as a press operator for over 35 years until retirement.  She married Bill Twigg December 5, 1981, at the United Methodist Church, DeWitt. 

She loved camping, Iowa Bowl Games, Days of Our Lives and spending time with her husband, daughter and grandchildren.  

Surviving are her husband, Bill; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Tim Parris; grandchildren, Shelby, Kaelyn and Jaeda; sister, Dottie (Robert) Maynard; mother-in-law, Midge Twigg of DeWitt all of DeWitt; brother-in-law, Richard McGarry of Milan, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Michael, Kira, Traci and Brian.

Preceding Bobbie Jo in death were her parents and a sister-in-law, Betty McGarry. 

A private visitation and service will be held Monday, April 26, 2021 at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt with Pastor Brandon Pangman officiating.  Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
