Sue Kagemann, 77, of Low Moor, Iowa, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
Carolyn Sue Rutledge was born July 8, 1942, in Springfield, Missouri, to Clarence and Ruth (Boatright) Rutledge. After graduating from high school in DeWitt, Iowa, she was united in marriage to David Edward Kagemann on August 26, 1960, in Oceanside, California. Sue was a homemaker and worked as a waitress. David preceded her in death in July of 2017.
She was an avid bowler, and also enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and her full-time job, keeping her husband in line.
She is survived by her children, David Jr. (Maria) Kagemann of Illinois, Joseph (Bridget) Kagemann of Missouri, Lisa Fisher of Cedar Rapids, Penny (Eddie) Doyle, and Tina Kagemann all of Camanche; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Randy Rutledge of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the service time of 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. She will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Patrick Cemetery, Villa Nova.
