Sgt. Michael G. Mowry

Sgt. Michael G. Mowry, 61, of Webster, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at home, following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born October 9, 1955, in Davenport, Iowa, to Gregory and Angela (Dierickx) Mowry. Following graduation from West High School in Davenport, he joined the U.S. Army. Michael served until retirement and settled in Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Marie of Webster, his mother, Angela of DeWitt, Iowa, a brother, Greg (Darlene) Mowry of Burnsville, Minnesota; a niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory.

Burial will be Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Houston National Cemetery.
