Paul D. Mangelsen, 57, of Charlotte, Iowa, died early Friday morning, February 2, 2018, at Westwing Place, DeWitt.

Paul Dirk Mangelsen was born June 3, 1960, to Peter and Waltraud (Becker) Mangelsen in Maquoketa, Iowa.

He is survived by his parents; brothers, Jens and Deana Mangelsen and their children, Christian, Mollie, and Megan; Christian and Karen Mangelsen and their children, Carsen, Bree, and Leah; 4 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews; and many extended family members in Germany.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte, Iowa. A Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Anthony Dodgers officiating. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the Millennium Banquet Hall in Goose Lake following the service.
