One thing I will never forget about Grandpa Workman is that whenever I came home he would always shake my hand really hard and say " there's that Navy guy" and he would ask me how the Navy is doing.

Message from Denny, Marcia (Trini), and Jason Workman

To the Myron Workman Family: it is difficult to know where to even begin to post something for this magnificent, wonderful soul. Uncle Myron was one of the best Uncles anyone could ever hope to have, and he lived a long and fruitful life, while touching everyone's heart that he encountered. He was kind, considerate, understanding, compassionate, and a wholehearted person who always had your back, always loved you no matter what, and treated you fairly, like you were one of his own. Anyone would be proud to have been a part of his family. Even when he was ill and in the hospital in 2002, when we asked him to be in our wedding party, he said yes and that he would not miss our wedding for anything. He ended up attending it in a wheelchair, and we are so grateful we had him and Aunt Helen in our wedding party in 2002. He and Aunt Helen welcomed Marcia (Trini) into the Workman family with open arms and warm hearts. Uncle Myron was a first class dresser, a first class welder, a first class banjo player, who could blue grass the night away, and certainly a first class Husband to Helen and a Father, who did a superb job raising four wonderful girls, all shinning stars in their own right. Always remember: that shall be one of the main legacies Myron left behind for us all to admire. If anyone can strive to fill those shoes, let them come forward. To all the family, we are so very sorry for your loss, and wish we could have been there for you in your time of need, but always remember that GOD has a very special spot for Uncle Myron in his band, and we leave you with Jeremiah 29:11. In this special time of need, may GOD bless you and keep you; make his face to shine upon you and give you his peace. Denny, Marcia (Trini), and Jason Workman.

THIS IS A SAD DAY FOR US BUT A DAY WHEN MYRON AND HELEN WILL BE REUNITED IN HEAVEN. THERE LIFE AND LOVE FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IS A TESTAMENT TO HOW THEY RAISED THEIR CHILDREN AND AN EXAMPLE FOR A LOT OF US TO FOLLOW. I'VE KNOWN THE WORKMAN FAMILY SINCE THEY WERE ALL YOUNG AND I WATCHED HELEN AND MYRON GROW TOGETHER AS THE YEARS PASSED. BOTH OF THEM WORKED HARD AND LOVED EVEN HARDER. VERY SELDOM WOULD YOU FIND THEM ALONE. GOD HAS GIVEN US A WONDERFUL GIFT IN KNOWING MYRON. HIS JOKES,LAUGHTER, AND SMILES. WE WILL TRULY MISS HIM, HE AND HELEN WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS! AS FOR THOSE LEFT BEHIND, JUST KNOW HE LOVED YOU ALL VERY MUCH! HIS FAMILY WAS HIS LIFE. GOD BE WITH YOU ALL!!
