Justin Daniel Postell

Justin Daniel Postell, 35, of Welton, Iowa, passed away Sunday , July 14, 2019.

He was born January 30, 1984, in Cedar Rapids to David and Michelle Postell.  Justin grew up in Dixon and was a graduate of Cal-Wheat High School.   He was a union journeyman floor coverer and was employed by Dave’s Floor Trends of Davenport.  

Justin was a member of Emmaus Church, DeWitt.  He was an amazing dad, loving his children, Jaxon and Charlotte dearly first and foremost.  He had something planned for them almost every weekend whether it was riding bicycles, motorcycles, swimming, fishing, hiking, playing video games or just hanging out.  

Surviving are his children, Jaxon and Charlotte; his mom, Michelle Thies of Davenport; siblings, Jamie (Jenny Snyder) Postell of Davenport, Jarad Postell of Davenport; a niece and nephew, Lucas and Gaby Postell. 

Preceding Justin in death was his dad, David.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Emmaus Road Church, DeWitt from 10:30 until a service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019.  A luncheon will follow the service.

Arrangements are in the care of Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt.
