Kent, Kevin and family-i remember your Mom as seeming younger than most of our parents in spirit, and I think it was because she was interested in each of us 'kids' not just in a remote way but more actively. She cared. In sure she was a great teacher too. We're thinking of you.

Condolences to the family. Doris and the family have been in our prayers this week. I will always remember her smile and laughter filling the room at great grandma's or at grandma and grandpa's house.

A wonderful teacher and person. The children sat around table today and remenised about all the fun times in her classroom, especially "airplane" trips. Blessings to all.

One of the BEST teachers!! She touched the hearts of many. She sure made moving to Iowa a lot more welcoming!! Also loved her stories about family, her twins and the Hawkeyes! God called home a wonderful angel! Thoughts and prayers extended to her family and friends! ❤️

What a great teacher. When you are in 4th grade and your teacher can talk shop about the Hawks, there is nothing cooler in the world. She will be missed.

Mrs. Ellis was my favorite teacher at St. Joe's. She was compassionate, kind, understanding person. She had a way with teaching kids and we will forever be grateful for that. Rest in heaven.
