Bryan Keith Calhoun

Bryan Keith Calhoun, 54, of Clinton, Iowa, died early Sunday morning, October 20, 2019, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

He was born July 25, 1965, in Moline, Illinois, to Stan and Anne (Buzard) Callhoun.  Bryan was a 1984 graduate of Central Community Schools, DeWitt.  He was employed by Eagle Food Warehouse in Millan for 18 years.  After they closed, he worked for Ipsco Steel in Camanche until illness forced retirement.  On October 8, 2019, Bryan married the love of his life Julie Franklin.

Bryan loved NASCAR, casinos, old barns, sky diving, traveling, antiquing and spending time with family. 

Surviving are  wife/longtime companion, Julie; step-children, Michael Wisong of DeWitt and April (Seth) Burken of Clinton; grandsons, Alec and Reid Burken; his father, Stan Calhoun of DeWitt; siblings, Kevin (Glenann) Calhoun of Dubuque, Lori (Tim) Holst of Eldridge and Nicole (Chris LeMaster) Calhoun of Rock Island, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Ashley Kiebler and Erin Fossum, Haley, Garrett and Wyatt Holst and Carly and Chase LeMaster; several aunts and uncles.

Preceding Bryan in death were his mother, Anne his brother, Tim and his grandparents.

The family will receive friends at Schultz Funeral; Home, DeWitt from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019.  A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2019, in funeral home with Pastor Dianne Prichard officiating.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.

Pallbearers will be Derek Calhoun, Seth Burken, Garrett Holst, Russell Petersen, Chris LeMaster and Randy Long
