Lisa Witt

Lisa Witt, 60, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, in the comfort of her sister's home in Bettendorf, following a prolonged battle with cancer.

A Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, with visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest on the family farm.

Lisa Mae Witt was born May 8, 1963, to Edward and Shirley (Marten) Witt, in Davenport, Iowa. She graduated from Central Community Schools in DeWitt. Lisa worked for Scott County Park before starting her career at Bawden Printing in Eldridge. She spent the last several years taking care of her parents and the family farm.

Lisa was a selfless person who was always “doing” for others. She loved the farm and was so proud of how well she kept the grounds there. She loved nature and animals and took care of many that found their way to the farm. Lisa will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her love of ABBA.

Surviving are her parents, Eddie and Shirley of DeWitt; her sister, Laura Witt of Bettendorf, brothers, Loren Witt of Texas, and Larry (Melanie) Witt and their son, Luke Witt all of Camanche; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ronnie, and her grandparents.
