Mrs. Dammerman, the former Viola Mae Moulton was born March 22, 1923, in Massillon, Iowa, to the late Frank and Alice (Dinkle) Moulton.  She was happily married to Lester A. She was a member of God’s Family Baptist Church in Grand Mound where she loved singing and praising God.   Viola worked for Helen Knoche Catering in Grand Mound and at DeWitt Community Hospital in the kitchen, providing meals for Westwing Place.  She is remembered as being a loving grandmother. Viola enjoyed “Find The Word” puzzles.  She was also a Chicago Cubs fan and was excited on their World Series win in 2016 after 108 years of “wait until next year”.
