Ramona Leone (Wulf) Haferbier

Mrs. Ramona L. Haferbier, 88, of Charlotte, Iowa, died Friday evening, February 10, 2017, at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
 
Mrs. Haferbier, the former Ramona Leone Wulf was born December 8, 1928, in DeWitt to Arnold and Edna (Mumm) Wulf.  She married Louis Haferbier March 2, 1946, in Clinton.  The couple resided in Charlotte where they raised their family.  Louis preceded Ramona in death April 23, 1979.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte.  She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards.

Surviving are children, Gayla Haferbier of Charlotte, Arlyn (Rhonda) Haferbier of Phoenix, Arizona, Scott (Julie) Haferbier of Charlotte and Brett (Jennifer Vilmont) Haferbier of Clinton; grandchildren, Jodi Bowens, Roger (Roxana) Haferbier, Melissa (Ian) Beer, Mitchell Haferbier and Matthew Haferbier; great-grandchildren, Kiana, Kaleb, Maleah and Monet Bowens, Madison and Bayleigh Haferbier, Tori Miller and Ava Beer; a sister, Lucille Wulf of Clinton; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Nancy and brothers, Glenn and James.

Visitation will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte from 9:00 until 10:15 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017.  A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the church with the Rev. Anthony Dodgers officiating.  Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kaleb Bowens, Mitchell Haferbier, Matthew Haferbier and Joe Hughes.
